Aim
The Banks
Association of Turkey Library is a
special library; its aim is to
contribute to the development of
banking profession in Turkey. It is
responsible for providing the any
kind of Library materials (books,
journals, CD-ROMs, electronic
resources etc.) and to its users
through a variety of services
including, traditional and other
utilizing electronic capabilities.
The Library
collection is available for both the
staff members of the Banks
Association of Turkey and the
external borrowers including the
bankers, academicians, researchers,
and graduates.

Morning : 10.00-12.00

Afternoon : 13.00-17.00
The Library is closed at the
weekend.
The Library has a
growing collection of books,
journals, statistics, discussion
papers, and the body of current law
and regulations. The collection is
arranged according to the Dewey
Decimal Classification system and
Anglo American Cataloging Rules2.
Books: The subject
of the General Book Collection
is mainly related to banking,
economy, money, monetary policy,
stock exchange, capital markets,
European Union, international
relations, banking law and
regulation, management, trade.
Journals:
The subject of the journals is
related to the banking, money and
finance. Many of these journals are
bound and its available their back
issues.
Statistics:
The
statistics, which are published by
the public institutions and the
banks operating in Turkey,
considering the Turkish economy and
the banking system and the
statistics of foreign institutions,
foundations, organizations, the
Central Banks of European Union
members are available.
Discussion
Papers:
All discussion papers of Federal
Reserve Bank of Atlanta, Federal
Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, Bank
for International Settlements, IMF,
etc. are available.
The Body of
Current Law and Regulations
Collection:
This collection
includes the complete set of the
national law and regulations
considering the banking and
financial sector.
Staff members of
the Banks Association of Turkey have
a privilege to access and borrow
library materials. They may borrow
15 items for a month.
Individual
borrowers may borrow 4 items for one
day in return for their ID cards to
the Library. Photocopying is limited
with 10 pages for each individual
user.
Current issues of
periodicals, statistics, annual
reports and some of The Banks
Association of Turkey’s publications
are not allowed to circulate.
